Features

  • The motor is designed for electric gliders and is based on the new generation of EA motor systems
  • Keeping it simple, by abandoning the gearbox structure, and using a large torque outrunner direct drive motor
  • The EG Long Edition is very suitable for F5J. The integrated motor extension allows use in slender fuselage installations
  • The EA 2838 is Dualsky the largest torque motor of 28mm diameter
  • Uses a 4mm high strength shaft, to avoid bending on landing. The shaft has no circlip groove so as to not be weakened
  • Uses oversized imported Japanese bearings that are durable and impact-resistant
  • Lightweight at 98gm. Easy to get the correct CG of your model
  • Suitable for gliders up to 1500-1600gm flying weight using a 3S setup

This Dualsky XM3045EG-8 1250kv 725 watt brushless motor is designed for FAI F5J gliders and is compatible with 3S to 4S batteries. This is a 'caged' outrunner with a 5mm shaft. No gearboxes to worry about, and very sturdy for those spot landing arrivals in the heat of competition. Suitable for gliders up to 2750gm.
