Snipe F3K January 2014

The Snipe wing utilises a full spread tow Carbon line 39 skins manufactured using new molding technology provide superior strength and stiffness. This process also produces a hard wing skin of foam that is stable and immune to temperature changes. The wing mount employs a cone-shaped mating surface which securely locks the wing to the fuselage with lightly torqued fasteners. High launch stresses are spread over the large cone surface instead of small crush-prone bolt openings. The main front wing mount is made from high strength carbon fiber with an embedded aluminum washer. The Snipe features a new series of proprietary high performance airfoils designed by Joe Wurts. A removable nose cone on the stream-lined pod easily provides access to RC gear & ballast. The Tail Boom is a single unit tube design saves weight while yielding a stronger structure. A full-length carbon-fiber tube transfers the load of the ground impact without stressing the nose cone. The wing is directly attached to this tube.. The rudder is an asymmetrical rudder provides a superior response during slow flight. The horizontal stab is mounted below the boom, allowing for better pull/spring set up there is Ballast Provision and the Snipe utilizes the same ballast system as the Blaster 3. A lightweight ballast on-a-stick system inside the fuselage allows for the addition of ballast, ballast may be added ranging from 1.4-2.8 oz. And a complete hardware package consisting of all necessary clevises, screws, carbon pushrods, control horns and the carbon launch peg is included.

Blaster 3 F3k

The Blaster 3 is a long-awaited release among throwers, the wing span is 1,5m andthge sailplane is from Vladimir's models. Blaster 3 is a revolution in the constructive-power scheme among DLG flyers. Experience in the designing of two previous generations of Blasters , Blaster 3 has allowed the construction of a product as much as possible meeting the versatile requirements of sportsmen who fly F3k. Thanks to magnificent controllability the pilot of any level and even the inexperienced can operate with success. You will achieve well with the Blaster 3 f3k.

Stobel V3 F3k 2010.

Introducing the all new The Stobel DLG V3, a high performance model designed for F3k competition use. Wing Area 21.2dm, Aspect Ratio 10.6, Airfoil LE 7219, Weight 240- 320 Wing Loading 11.3-15g/cm . With the changes of DLG flying across the world, we are seeing big changes in airframes to all new levels in both design and construction. Stiffer, stronger airframes means that they can launch higher and offer new airfoils that fly faster. Outstanding flying at airspeeds between 7-12m / s, we have An aircraft that can fly further and cover more sky in the same amount of time. In 2010 LE-Composites, a leader in design and manufacturing of high performance DLG’s, took this next step by introducing the new Stobel V3. The Stobel V3 takes advantage of the latest servo advancements, the (Hyperion D9), enabling the design of a new thinner/faster airfoil and still having the full benefits of the factory fitted RDS aileron control system. Without the drag of external push rods/ control horns, the new V3 is very slippery through the air. The wing is constructed with the use of Spread Tow carbon fiber for the D-Box and a Carbon- Disser reinforced Glass/ Rohacell trailing edge, giving the wing incredible stiffness without the weight penalty. The oval shaped fuselage constructed of IMS and UHM carbon gives you a much stiffer boom for the powerful launches that have developed in DLG competitions. The tails are made from CNC machined Rohacell cores with carbon reinforcements, pressed into aluminum molds to ensure accuracy. They are controlled by the use of a torsion spring and pull cord, delivering a very light overall weight (240- 260grams RTF) without any sacrifices

Elf F3k

The ELF is a new generation of 1-meter wingspan discus launch glider (DLG) from Vladimir's Model’s. The ELF allows the Pilot to fly in small spaces like never before. The ELF is intended for pilots of all skill levels and experience. The ELF is sample of the modern approach to designingF3k sailplanes. ELF - combines unique design, difficult technologies of manual assemblage and all it at external simplicity, elegance and for low cost. Full simulated on computer ELF has allowed us with accuracy 3mm to predict centering and to give to glider maximum strength at the minimum weight. Having added to it unique aerodynamic characteristics, calculated by Dr. Drela, we have achieved excellent control and flying characteristics. Specifications Wingspan: 1000 mm (39.37 in) ,Wing area: 11.66 dm2 (1.26 ft2) ,Wing airfoil: AG12, AG13, AG14 ,Weight (RTF): 95 gr (3.35 oz), Wing loading: 8.15 gr/dm2 (2.67 oz/ft2) ,Control: Rudder, movable horizontal stabilizer, this model is a strong glider with an excellent design.
